SellPoint, Inc.<\/strong> creates and syndicates product tours featuring 360-degree images, video, animation, and product specs.<\/p>\n

Formed in 2000, SellPoint started out as Tentoe, Inc., the name a reflection of the company’s California surfer ethos. Tentoe began by working with manufacturers interested in syndicating catalogue information (features, specs, images, and descriptions) to e-commerce sites. The company also created a product content portal that allowed sales teams in the field to access product data and other sales materials.<\/p>\n

Focus on Rich Media Content<\/h2>\n

In 2007, the company changed its name to SellPoint to reflect their focus on publishing rich media content.<\/p>\n

By producing product tours in-house, SellPoint offers manufacturers what the company calls “zero-effort implementation.” While SellPoint can easily modify product tours, the company does not offer the flexibility of a do-it-yourself interface where customers can create or edit their own product tours. SellPoint currently creates product tours for approximately 75 manufacturing clients, making them available to more than 150 e-commerce sites.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
