Walmart&#8217;s CEO of global commerce mentioned the company doubled the number of products available online in the first half of 2013, which surely has something to do with the healthy growth in sales.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of e-commerce development, <strong>Amazon<\/strong> recently added a new feature: product comparison charts created by the retail site itself, rather than by the brand. An example from <a title=\"Amazon Samsung Book 5 laptop product page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Samsung-14-Inch-Touchscreen-Ultrabook-Mineral\/dp\/B00B588I2I\/ref=amtcd_B00B588J6S_B00B588I2I\" target=\"_blank\">this product page<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20466 aligncenter\" alt=\"Amazon-matrix\" src=\"http:\/\/content26.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Amazon-matrix.gif\" width=\"700\" height=\"258\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These charts feature competitor products as well as other products from the same brand. They&#8217;re also located above a brand&#8217;s product description and include an add-to-cart button for every product in the chart. I started by searching for a <strong>Samsung<\/strong> laptop, and, using the new comparison chart, I was looking at an <strong>Asus<\/strong> laptop (and a chart full of other Asus laptops) within three clicks.
