Some Things We Did in 2013<\/h2>\n

Just about a year ago, content26<\/strong> tore up our Master Service Agreement with\u00a0Amazon<\/strong>\u00a0and set out upon a grand new adventure in e-commerce without that giant albatross.<\/p>\n

We translated content into\u00a022 languages:\u00a0German,\u00a0European Spanish,\u00a0European French,\u00a0Italian,\u00a0European Portuguese,\u00a0Russian,\u00a0Polish,\u00a0Turkish,\u00a0Arabic (universal),\u00a0Brazilian Portuguese,\u00a0Latin American Spanish, Canadian French, simplified Chinese,\u00a0Mandarin Chinese,\u00a0Japanese,\u00a0South Korean,\u00a0Czech,\u00a0Norwegian,\u00a0Swedish,\u00a0Dutch,\u00a0Finnish, and\u00a0Danish.<\/p>\n

The editorial team instituted a writer rating and bonus system to ensure continued top-notch quality in our content production.<\/p>\n

\"Olympic-trees\"Most of us took a holiday retreat to the stunning Olympic Peninsula coast<\/a> instead of having yet another restaurant-hosted holiday dinner.<\/p>\n

We added a\u00a0writer portal<\/a>\u00a0to our website to improve the application process and\u00a0an\u00a0estimate tool<\/a>\u00a0to make it easier for manufacturers and brands to get a conversation started about how to create top-notch e-commerce content. We also started to gather our own data on page view changes from adding enhanced content.<\/p>\n

We retired Audrey Hepburn as our office mascot and welcomed Jake Pataki into that role.<\/p>\n

And I wrote this and a few other blog posts while also reading xkcd<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Some Things We’ll Do in 2014<\/h2>\n

Move this blog onto content26.com as part of our shifting content marketing strategy and continue to update our sales process.<\/p>\n

Develop a strategy for mobile content and device-agnostic content (also called anamorphic content<\/a>) based partly on information gleaned from interviews in our Design for Mobile Commerce series.<\/p>\n

Retire Jake Pataki as office mascot (he barks too much) and welcome Kunik into that role (just as soon as he can last a few hours without peeing on the carpet).<\/p>\n
