It\u2019s a\u00a0critical time for online retail too. And while Black Friday is still\u00a0important, Cyber Monday sales are increasing every year.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s still time to create enhanced content for the holiday\u00a0shopping season. Follow our timeline, and you can get the\u00a020-38 percent boost in sales other companies are already\u00a0experiencing.<\/p>\n<p><em>Assess your content needs (by September 15th).<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Determine which retailers are most important to your holiday sales.<\/li>\n<li>Pick which products are the best investment for enhanced content.<\/li>\n<li>Get internal support, including buy-in, funding, legal backing, and staffing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Collect assets and contact a content creator (by September 21st).<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure you have great text and image assets for all products.<\/li>\n<li>Contract with a content creator, such as content26, and begin setting up your project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Complete your written content (by September 30th).<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Send your assets to a writer on your team or an external resource.<\/li>\n<li>Complete writing and editing so designs can be completed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Approve content and design (by October 15th).<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have your stakeholders and legal team review and approve your draft pages.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a legal team, ensure they have time to review your content.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure your content meets the needs of your online retailers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Upload your content to your online retailers (by November 1st).<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit your content at least three weeks before you need it online.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Check in on your uploaded product pages (throughout November, until pages are live).<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contact your site merchandiser or other contact if your pages haven\u2019t appeared within 7\u201310 days.<\/li>\n<li>Keep in regular contact until your pages are online.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are only 78 days left until Black Friday!
