As of January 1, 2015, Amazon EU\u00a0sites (including Germany, the UK, France, Spain, and Italy) are finally using <a href=\"http:\/\/content26.com\/blog\/amazon-modules-new-product-page\/\" title=\"Amazon modules: a brave new product page\" target=\"_blank\">Vendor Central modules<\/a> for A+ content, meaning that adding A+ content on these sites no longer requires that you commission a whole separate suite of A+ pages in addition to your Amazon US content.<\/p>\n<p>Whether\u00a0you&#8217;re preparing to sell on Amazon EU\u00a0sites or are already there, this is a perfect\u00a0opportunity to create\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/content26.com\/blog\/dont-big-image-amazon-content\/\" title=\"Don\u2019t do this: the big image as Amazon A+ content\" target=\"_blank\">mobile<\/a>&#8211; and <a href=\"http:\/\/content26.com\/blog\/a-content-as-javascript-hurts-amazon-performance\/\" title=\"Will A+ content in JavaScript hurt your Amazon performance?\" target=\"_blank\">search-friendly<\/a>\u00a0Amazon product pages in a more efficient, more budget-friendly way than was available before.<\/p>\n<p>However, to successfully create and distribute A+ content, there are several important things to consider. This is a disorganized and expensive way to create A+ content.<\/li>\n<li><b>Have country-level buy-in?<\/b>\u00a0Yes, we strongly recommend creating content centrally, as keeping it within a single team is the best way to ensure your content&#8217;s quality and information is consistent. That said, getting your international e-commerce team on board with a plan to create A+ content is crucial.<\/li>\n<li><b>Have a good sense of what your top-selling products are in each country?<\/b> Assuming you have the green light to begin creating content for your various European markets, you\u2019ll need to know the top-selling products. This is important as it doesn\u2019t always make economic sense to create A+ content for all your products. While it depends on what type of products you sell, a good place to start is the 80\/20 rule, which states that 20% of your products results in 80% of your sales. Invest in that 20% first.<\/li>\n<li><b>Have a translation partner selected?<\/b> If you know ahead of time that you\u2019re going to be translating content for different markets, write the original English-language content so\u00a0that it can be easily translated and localized. By doing this, you&#8217;ll ensure consistent branding across countries. This also makes it\u00a0easier to avoid awkward (and more expensive) translations and to enforce quality control.
