The Amazon kitchen and bath categories cover many standard household items, such as pressure cookers and pillows, but even window treatments, hardware, and accessories accounted for $70 million in Amazon sales.<\/p>\n<p>We set out to discover which brands had effective Amazon content, and are bringing you the highlights to inspire your own product pages. We analyzed each product\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/content26.com\/blog\/essential-vs-enhanced-ecommerce-product-content\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">essential and enhanced content<\/a> for compliance with Amazon\u2019s standards and adherence to industry best practices.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Standout Content in Amazon Kitchen and Bath<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3>Moen<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B01DVS40TE?th=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-34570 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/content26.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/moen-screenshot-606x1024.png\" alt=\"Amazon kitchen and bath Moen\" width=\"606\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/moen-screenshot-606x1024.png 606w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/moen-screenshot-103x175.png 103w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/moen-screenshot-177x300.png 177w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/moen-screenshot-768x1299.png 768w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/moen-screenshot.png 1414w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 606px) 100vw, 606px\" \/><\/a>Overall, Moen has great Amazon content. Title length came in at an average of 83.9 characters, close to the Amazon-recommended limit of 80. There are numerous and diverse above-the-fold images, and the essential content bullets are helpful.<\/p>\n<p>Moen also invested in enhanced content, making use of Amazon\u2019s mobile-friendly modules to provide additional information. The enhanced content features a linked product comparison chart, giving consumers other options to explore within the brand in case they find the exact product they are looking at is not for them.<\/p>\n<p>We did see room for improvement: the essential content had repeating bullets on some product pages. This makes the page look sloppy and wastes some of the most premium space for content.<\/p>\n<h3>Kraus<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0032BYM4Y\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-34616 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/content26.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-392-1024x567.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"567\" srcset=\"https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-392-1024x567.png 1024w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-392-175x97.png 175w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-392-300x166.png 300w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-392-768x425.png 768w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-392.png 1246w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kraus has also pulled together some nice content. On average, the titles were long, but the essential content shows robust imagery and decent bullets. Unfortunately, what looks great on the computer screen can fall flat on a mobile one, and this is the case for a lot of Kraus\u2019s images. Many of the images feature text that isn\u2019t visible on a small screen.<\/p>\n<p>The enhanced content on Kraus pages is well-done, with good detail and a comparison chart.<\/p>\n<h3>Kohler<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B005AEK1Q4?th=1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-34618 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/content26.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-396-1024x562.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"562\" srcset=\"https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-396-1024x562.png 1024w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-396-175x96.png 175w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-396-300x165.png 300w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-396-768x421.png 768w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-396.png 1112w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kohler\u2019s Amazon product pages stand out for their use of video at the top of the page. The essential content is decent, although the bullets leave room for improvement and the lifestyle images don\u2019t show much variety.<\/p>\n<p>While the pages do feature enhanced content, they do not make good use of available modules. Though the text talks about lots of available colors and the spacious sink bowl, only white is featured in the lifestyles and there are no shots of the bowl.<\/p>\n<h3>InSinkErator<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B000G837TW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-34575 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/content26.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/insinkerator-screenshot-414x1024.png\" alt=\"Amazon kitchen and bath insinkerator\" width=\"414\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/insinkerator-screenshot-414x1024.png 414w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/insinkerator-screenshot-71x175.png 71w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/insinkerator-screenshot-121x300.png 121w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/insinkerator-screenshot-768x1901.png 768w, https:\/\/987654321.space\/c26_dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/insinkerator-screenshot.png 1464w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 414px) 100vw, 414px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The InSinkErator pages are fantastic, with an optimal level of detail in the essential content (minus a couple points for the same repeating-bullet issue we saw with Moen). The lifestyle imagery is varied and helpful in both the essential and enhanced content. The enhanced content makes effective use of module options, including the ever-helpful comparison chart.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Advice for Your Amazon Product Content<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Now that we\u2019ve seen a few examples of good content from the Amazon kitchen and bath segment, here are five steps to help you move from inspiration to action.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Check on the basics.<\/strong> Make sure your essential content is clean, well-written, and provides adequate information.
